K. Michelle Admits She Became Attracted to Lance Stephenson After He Played Against J.R. Smith [Video]

Love & Hip Hop star K. Michelle and Indiana Pacers star Lance Stephenson have been happily dating for the past few months.

Now the Rebellious Soul singer is opening up about how she and Stephenson met. K. Michelle reveals to Power 99′s The Rise N’ Grind Morning Show that she googled the NBA star after she watched one of his games. Stephenson was guarding her former boo, New York Knicks star J.R. Smith, at the time.

Once K. Michelle saw some photos and got more information on Stephenson, she noticed he was following her on Twitter so she followed him back. The two had a few exchanges on Vine, before Stephenson gave the reality star his phone number in the comment section. And the rest is history.

On how K. Michelle and Stephenson started dating: 

“The other guy I was dating, they were in the playoffs together. I was watching the game and it was this chocolate dude. He was just ballin’. He was just bustin’ my ex’s butt. I was like, ‘Whoa, who is that? He is fine!” I Googled him and he was already following me on Twitter, but I didn’t say nothing. I followed him back [on Twitter] but I didn’t say nothing. I figured I’d run into him, it was so crazy.

I put up a Vine and was following him on Vine and he said something and one day I commented on his Vine back. Then one day in front of everybody he just gave me his phone number on Vine. I said, ‘What are you doing? Do you know my fans will call you?’ He was like, ‘I ain’t care. I was trying to get to you.’ So that was it. I let him make his move and he did. I didn’t know if we would ever talk or nothing like that and he said he had been looking at me for a while.”

On if there are any songs on her Rebellious Soul album about Stephenson:

“No, this album was before him so he’ll get some songs eventually. He’s not on this album.”

On if she gets along with Stephenson’s family:

“[His mother] acts just like me. For real, for real. She’s cool. When I say I can talk to her, she’s really cool. His dad’s cool. They’re just cool people. We go bowling and stuff like that. I think they’re really genuine people.
